Features

• Make your way to a counselor's guild or Lord British's throne room to find four skill stones. You can use these to raise four skills to 90.
• You can also buy skill points from the Skill buying stones located in these same locations. There is a stone to lower your skill as well.
• Every player can get an ethereal mount by completing the "Shadow Quest." The quest is NOT easy, but you can start by visiting the Shadow Keeper, found in the north east most home of Cove. Say "Quest" when you find him.
• A bounty hunter (found near most banks) can reward you for hunting monsters. Say "Hunt" to get a contract. Then say "Bounty" once you have fulfilled the hunt.
• Rares can be found scattered through the lands!
• New Bane Weapons are numerous (over 30,000 different combinations)!
• Karma can be earned by donating to the virtues, and the highest levels of fame are achieved through finding rare ancient scrolls.
• A Shadow Vendor can be found at the Minoc gypsy camp. This vendor sells many rare items.
• Countless new magical weapons and armor to find.
• Complete working Runebooks and Library Rune books. If a runebook is locked down in your house, no one can remove the runes!
• Working bonus damage, magic resist, healing, and taming.
• Working magic restriction. (No pre-casting.) Wearing armor (besides leather) increases fizzle chance greatly. Using scrolls or wands bypass this restriction making scrolls and wands valuable.
• New leather armor for mages who utilize the magic restriction!
• Dye your hair any color of the rainbow!
• Animal shrink potions--carry your pets in your pack!
• Eyes of the newt make the mana potion, that is the only new potion implemented.

Rares

The Shadowland is rich with rare items. Here is a list that will be updated as new rares are found. To find a rare, you will have to camp the location. These items spawn once a day, but what time is anyone's guess... They will also blend into the surroundings, so it may be difficult to tell what item you may pick up! Keep trying!

• Potted Plants - Scattered throughout the city of Wind
• Fruit Baskets - Minoc counselor guild
• Skull Candles - Ice Dungeon, Vampire Hold. Also found in Wind.
• Candelabra - Fire dungeon, close to the mages. Also lvl3 Shame, in the haunted towers.

Bane Weapons

New to the Shadowland are the Bane Weapons. There are over 30,000 different combinations of these weapons throughout the lands. The names of the weapons indicate its power.

The rarest weapons of them all are so magical that they actually speak to you when you hold them.

Other rare weapons have special effects when they strike a monster, giving a massive amount of bonus damage. Such as the mighty Pearl Spear or Spiders Staff.

You will know you have the best item as it will be packed in a bright red bag.
